Galactus will be one of the big villains in ‘The Fantastic 4’
The presence of Galactus in ‘The Fantastic 4′ has been confirmed, but that doesn’t rule out Dr. Doom for the First Family’s debut.
After numerous rumors in recent weeks, we finally learned yesterday that Marvel has indeed decided on an actress to play Silver Surfer in ‘The Fantastic Four’: Julia Garner. As we know from comic book lore, Silver Surfer is the herald of Galactus, whom he ends up betraying when he arrives on Earth and meets Reed Richards and the rest of the group, so as it could not be otherwise, we will have the Devourer of Worlds as the main villain of the film.
This was stated by Justin Kroll, a journalist for Deadline, stating that the role is currently vacant. A few months ago a rumor spread that the chosen one was looking to be none other than Javier Bardem, although it remains mere speculation. In the same way, everything indicates that Franklin and Valeria Richards, children of Reed Richards and Sue Storm, will also make an appearance.

After many months of practically no news, the news about this reboot have been arriving all at once, starting with its cast led by Pedro Pascal (Reed Richards) and Vanessa Kirby (Sue Storm), as well as Joseph Quinn (Johnny Storm/Human Torch) and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Ben Grimm/The Thing). Furthermore, the presence of Galactus does not at all rule out that of Victor von Doom (Dr. Doom), a role for which big names such as Mads Mikkelsen and Cillian Murphy have been thrown around.
It will be the second reboot of ‘Fantastic Four’, after the failed 2015 film with Kate Mara and Michael B. Jordan as the film’s main stars. Before that we got two movies in the early 2000s with Jessica Alba (Sue Storm) and Chris Evans (Johnny Storm), which despite being relatively popular did not go beyond two installments.
