Gamescom 2024 Opening Night Live: date, time, and everything we know

Gamescom 2024 is yet another yearly return for the largest video game fair in Europe. One of the largest events in the industry returns to show countless new titles and fill millions of players worldwide with excitement. We will still have to wait a while and there will be other events along the way, but Gamescom 2024 will be held from Wednesday, August 21 to Sunday, August 25 in the German town of Cologne, specifically at the Koelnmesse convention center.

It’s been an intense summer for the video game industry, and Gamescom will once again position itself as one of the main references in which to be aware of what is to come.

When and what time is the Gamescom Opening Night Live

Gamescom 2024 will open its doors from Wednesday, August 21 to Sunday, August 25, although the Tuesday, August 20, the preview will begin at 11:00am PDT with the Opening Night Live 2024 presentation, while the event itself will begin an hour later. The show presented by Geoff Keighley is one of the main highlights of the entire event, and it is expected that a large number of new features will be presented, as well as being able to see more about games that have already been announced.

Companies confirmed at Gamescom 2024

We still have to wait to find out the companies that will attend Gamescom 2024, and there is still no official confirmation from the companies, although it is expected that the most prominent ones will be present at the event. On the other hand, it has been confirmed that Nintendo will not be at Gamescom 2024, a surprising fact given that the Japanese company was present at the 2023 edition.
