We can get the Alan Wake outfit for free in Fortnite thanks to a promotion of Alan Wake 2 on the Epic Games Store, as we can see on the game’s page in this store. Basically, if we pre-order Alan Wake 2 on the Epic Games Store before October 27, 2023, we will get the Alan Wake outfit and his backbling accessory Alan’s Messenger Bagfor free in Fortnite. Pre-order Alan Wake 2 on the Epic Games Store for $49.99.

Through this promotion, we will be able to get Alan Wake in Fortnite for free and before it hits the store. That said, the Alan Wake set also includes a pickaxe and a wrap, so if we want to have it all, we’ll still have to check out when those items are available for purchase.
