Ghost of Tsushima is coming to PC, expanding the PlayStation catalog on this platform
With many improvements for PC, Sucker Punch’s title arrives loaded for a new group of gamers who want to enjoy this adventure.
PlayStation continues to expand its PC catalog. On this occasion, and a few weeks after the arrival of Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition on this platform, Sony has announced the upcoming arrival of Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut on Steam and Epic Game Store.
Through a publication on the PlayStation Blog, it was revealed that the Sucker Punch title will arrive on this platform on May 16, ported by Nixxes Software. This version, which could be considered the definitive edition, will include the full game, the Iki Island expansion, and the multiplayer online cooperative mode Legends.
An edition with many improvements
As you might expect, the PC version will benefit from many of the enhancements that the Nixxes team has been working on to bring the Sucker Punch engine to PC, as well as implementing features that will improve the quality of the game. From ultra-wide monitor support for resolutions up to 48:9 in triple monitor setups, to performance-enhancing technologies such as NVIDIA DLSS 3 and AMD FSR 3, to extensive controller support, including the ability to use PlayStation DualSense to take advantage of haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.
The pre-sale is now available on both Steam and the Epic Game Store and includes some unlockable in-game content:
What is Ghosts of Tsushima about?
As they rightly post on the blog, this is a summary of what gamers who have yet to experience Sucker Punch’s newest title can expect: “Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut is an action-adventure game set in feudal Japan. Protagonist Jin Sakai was raised and trained in the ways of the samurai. His world is shattered when a Mongol invasion defeats the samurai army of his home on Tsushima island, and he is faced with a difficult decision: honor the tradition and customs of his upbringing and maintain a fight he cannot win, or deviate from his samurai path to protect the island and its people by any means necessary.”
