‘Gladiator 2’ is Denzel Washington’s “biggest film ever been on”
Denzel Washington gushed about Gladiator 2 and the cast and crew’s achievements, teasing his “biggest film” ever.
If you thought that Ridley Scott was exaggerating when talking about ‘Gladiator 2′ and promising “the biggest action sequences ever seen in a movie”, maybe you will change your mind when you see that Denzel Washington is gushing about exactly the same thing. At 69 years old, the actor has participated in all kinds of productions and left a filmography to remember, so it is not usual to see him so excited about a project.
In the YouTube Short that you can see above, Washington seems to have enjoyed the production like a kid: “I think this is the biggest film I’ve been on”, he confesses. “They built the Colosseum! It’s a ride, a spectacle, everywhere you turn you feel like you’re in that world. And I love that!”.
Hopefully when it is released in theaters on November 15, 2024, ‘Gladiator 2′ lives up to the words of both. The director has also promised that the wait “will be worth it”, and having waited for almost 25 years (since the original movie was launched in 2000) and coming in hot from ‘Napoleon’, those are big words.
