Goodbye mystery, ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - Infinity Castle’ will reveal its release date at an event
A long wait that will soon come to an end.

‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - Infinity Castle’ is the first movie of a trilogy that will conclude the story of Koyoharu Gotouge’s work. The final arc will be seen in its entirety in theaters, and the anime’s official website has announced an event for Saturday, March 1, where the Japanese release date will be revealed, giving us a clue as to when we will be able to enjoy it in the rest of the territories.
The movie will be distributed worldwide by Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment, with the exception of certain Asian territories, including Japan. The March 1 event will reveal the release date in its country of origin, which will give a clue as to when it will be released in the rest of the world. Given the success and popularity of the work, all indications are that we will not have to wait long to enjoy the beginning of the end.
The ending Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba deserves
The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba trilogy has what it takes to make anime and anime movies in general history. It aims to be the ending in style that can set a paradigm where other works have been more reserved. Another series with a huge following, like Shingeki no Kyojin, chose not to release its finale directly to theaters, and in retrospect, it could mark a historic moment for all of its followers.
What is the reason why Japanese animation is reluctant to release movies that continue the story of their series? Perhaps the fear of not reaching a wider audience by sticking to anime fans, but when we are talking about series with millions of followers, this should not be a problem when it comes to attracting a large audience to theaters. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba has already proven this, and it looks like it will do so again with its final trilogy.
