Goodbye to another Xbox exclusive? Starfield points to PS5 and there’s a strong reason to think it’s imminent

The official website has been updated, but we’ve had a chance to see the PlayStation logo next to the game’s name.

Starfield

A new Xbox exclusive game coming to PS5 isn’t even something that surprises anyone anymore, as over the past few months we’ve witnessed the announcements of heavyweights like Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and Forza Horizon 5, in addition to Pentiment, Sea of Thieves, Grounded and others that arrived longer ago. Still, it’s always relevant news when one of the bastions of Xbox Series X|S aims to land in the catalog of Sony’s console, and recently Starfield has appeared next to the PlayStation logo on Bethesda’s own website.

It’s the website dedicated to mods called Starfield Creations, where there is a mod in progress that allows players to add decals to their ship. The page has been updated and at the moment the PlayStation logo no longer appears, but we can confirm that we ourselves have accessed it a few minutes ago and could see the PS logo perfectly alongside those of Xbox and PC. To make matters worse, and although such a statement is compatible with the launch of a new expansion, the company recently commented that it had “big plans for Starfield in 2025″.

The fact that the logo appeared - even though it was removed after a few minutes - suggests that the announcement of Starfield for PS5 could be imminent. Meanwhile, those that do come out for sure in the short term are the aforementioned Indiana Jones and the great circle (spring) and Forza Horizon 5 (April 29).
