Goodbye to Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile: Activision has already removed it from iOS and Google Play for this reason
It’s time to rest, soldier.

Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is shutting down. Less than a year after its launch, the mobile version of Activision‘s popular battle royale shooter will no longer be supported. It will first exit the Apple App Store and Google Play stores.
Goodbye to mobile battles in Warzone
Through a post on X (formerly Twitter), Activision revealed its future plans for the game. The company announced that, as of May 18, the game will no longer be available in digital stores. However, this does not mean the game will end immediately. “While we’re proud of the accomplishment in bringing Call of Duty: Warzone to mobile in an authentic way, it unfortunately has not met our expectations with mobile-first players like it has with PC and console audiences,” wrote Activision.

For now, the game servers will remain available to players who have already downloaded the game to their devices. While you can still play the game, you cannot download it or make in-app purchases. There is currently no date set for when the Warzone Mobile servers will be shut down.
“Players who have the game installed before Monday, May 19, 2025 will still have access to the game with continued cross-progression of shared inventories using existing content, and servers with matchmaking for online play,” Activision wrote. “Any unspent COD Points can also be redeemed in-game toward available content in the Store.”
However, Activision’s support page for Warzone Mobile states that future Warzone content will not be available on the mobile version. This means the game won’t receive updates, new maps, weapons, or events that come to the PC and console versions. Additionally, Activision will not offer refunds to players who purchased CoD Points or Black Cell on the mobile platform.
It remains to be seen how long Activision will continue to support this game and how that will affect potential new developments.
