Gorillaz comes to Fortnite: date, how to get their new outfits, available songs, and all the details

Fortnite continues to expand through all kinds of unexpected collaborations. At the end of August 2025, not only will the famous Saitama from ‘One Punch Man’ arrives, but so will the members of the group Gorillaz, with new outfits for all four members, accessories such as musical instruments, and, of course, many of the band’s most iconic songs.

In a blog post on the official Fortnite website, Epic Games has announced the imminent arrival of Gorillaz. The world’s biggest virtual band will be available from Tuesday, August 26, 2025, following the release of patch 37.10. However, there’s a catch, and those who want to get the new outfits for the four members of the group will have to take two different routes: Russel Hobbs and Murdoc Niccals are part of the Fortnite Festival Season 10 Music Pass, while Noodle and 2D will be outfits available in the store.

The Noodle and 2D outfits from the store include all of the following:

• Noodle Outfit: Gorillaz guitarist. Trained assassin. Possible cyborg. (Toggle her mask on or off in the Locker!)
• Noodle’s Case Back Bling: A must for all sonic assassins.
• DARE Emote: DARE to move like Noodle. (Choreographed to Gorillaz’ “DARE” and plays part of the song!)
• Noodle’s Axe Guitar: Prepare your ears.
• 2D Outfit: Gorillaz singer. Dislikes conflict. Prefers satsumas. (Toggle his sunglasses on or off in the Locker!)
• 2D’s Megaphone Back Bling: Speak truth to power. Or just yell into the void.
• Gorillaz Camo Wrap: Join the camo club.
• 2D’s Mic: “Testing. 1... um... er... 3?”

These items will be available individually or as part of a bundle that includes the “DARE” Jam Track and the Bonesy Balloons Contrail. They will remain in the store until the end of Season 10 of Fortnite Festival. Once they leave the store, they may return in the future. The song “Clint Eastwood” will also be available in the store throughout Season 10.

For its part, the Season 10 Fortnite Festival Music Pass includes, as we have already mentioned, not one, but two different outfits: Russel Hobbs and Murdoc Niccals. As we level up in the Pass, we will be able to unlock these other themed items:

• One-Eyed Octopus Back Bling
• Russel’s Drums
• Murdoc’s Cape Back Bling
• Murdoc’s Bass
• ‘On Melancholy Hill’ Jam Track

Beyond a simple aesthetic addition, Gorillaz’s arrival in Fortnite underscores the game’s interest in establishing itself as the de facto metaverse, a vast cultural space where all kinds of franchises, intellectual properties, and even real-world personalities intertwine. It’s not just about being able to control the members of this band; we’re talking about a band that has always flirted with transmedia, so their presence in Fortnite feels surprisingly natural. Interactive concerts, digital festivals, and all kinds of collaborations with renowned artists have turned Fortnite into a platform that has long since ceased to be a mere battle royale, and this move reinforces precisely that idea.
