‘Grand Theft Auto Online’ to receive new update this December
Rockstar Games has announced that it is preparing new content to Grand Theft Auto V’s online experience.
The Grand Theft Auto Online community remains strong, even on the eve of a new GTA VI announcement. The recent Ludendorff Cemetery Survival exceeded expectations with a huge number of users logging into the game to go to North Yankton and kill zombies. Now Rockstar has announced that after 2024 full of updates and new ways to make a living in Los Santos, it is already preparing a new update for December.
What’s coming to GTA Online?
Via the Rockstar Newswire, the studio has revealed the first details of the next update coming to the online world of Grand Theft Auto in December. The update, which has yet to be officially named, will take us to the Darnell Bros. Garment Factory, the front end of a new business venture. “With the aid of helmsman Pavel and a former FIB officer turned independent contractor, you’ll convert it into a hive for clandestine infiltration operations where you can launch a bevy of thrilling and strategic new robberies,” the website reads.
In addition to this new store, other features will be added to “Dispatch Work missions, new rides, Job Creator updates, and new upgrades for your Benefactor Terrorbyte, including a Collectible Scanner to help pinpoint a wide range of treasures whenever they are in close proximity - including Action Figures, Movie Props, G’s Cache drops, and many more.”
How much content arrived to GTA Online in 2024?
It may seem surprising, but more than 10 years after its release, GTA V’s online mode remains a constant source of content. As Rockstar Games sums it up, “his past year has been filled with action-packed updates.” Among them were new activities that took players all over Los Santos, from the Cluckin’ Bell Farm Raid and Bottom Dollar Bounties to the Assault on ATT-16. New vehicle jobs such as Vigilante Dispatch and Pizza Delivery have also been added, as well as activities such as LS Tags.
