GTA Online’s next heist hides references to Red Dead Redemption, GTA IV, and more
The upcoming Kortz Center update includes paintings filled with Easter eggs from Rockstar’s biggest franchises.
Starting next week, GTA Online will receive a major new update—the latest, so far, before the release of Grand Theft Auto VI. The Kortz Center will allow players to pull off a heist to steal paintings from the famous Kortz Center in northern Los Santos, and some players have already found a few Easter eggs in some of the paintings we’ll be able to steal.
Some of the paintings that players will be able to steal have already been revealed, and some fans have found Easter eggs from past Rockstar Games titles, demonstrating the level of detail that’s going into this expansion. Among these are references to locations in Red Dead Redemption, one of the key moments in Grand Theft Auto IV, as well as some unexpected cameos by characters from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and Red Dead Redemption 2.
What is The Kort Center Heist?
The Kortz Center Heist, which will let us rob the museum located in the hills of Pacific Bluffs and make off with a piece from its prestigious gallery. To pull off this new heist, we’ll need to set up the Art Studio in our mansion, research the piece we’re going to steal right at the Kortz Center, and then carry out this “multi-stage heist.”
To help you prepare for this heist, Rockstar has already set up events where you can earn GTA$ so you’ll have enough money for your mansion (and maybe even complete the missions featuring Michael de Santa’s return from last year), as well as some discounts for GTA+ members. Details about cars, new stuff, and items will be revealed closer to the update’s launch.
The Kortz Center Heist will be available starting July 14.
