Hades 2 breaks the original’s record on Steam during its first 24 hours

Hades 2 is now available, and like its first installment it was released in early access, and the success of the title has not been long in coming. Although there is still some time before we have the final version of the game, the number of players who have bought the second part of Hades in its first 24 hours far exceeds what was achieved for its first installment in all these years. We are talking about a huge game, with the name of Supergiant Games attached to it which is already recognized by players around the world.

In its first 24 hours, Hades 2 reached a peak of 103,567 simultaneous players on Steam. A very significant figure for a launch of this type, as we are talking about a single-player, roguelike title, a sequel to what is one of the best exponents of its genre. If we compare, the first Hades has a maximum peak of 38,942 concurrent players on Steam, although we must point out the fact that it was originally released exclusively for Epic Games and would take a year to reach the Valve platform.
