Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions reveal trailer confirms release date and PS Plus availability
Wizards and Witches rejoice! The long-awaited Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is finally bringing the magical sport to game consoles
The magical sport may not have been present in Hogwarts Legacy, but Warner Bros. Games has been preparing a title specifically focused on Quidditch for years. Officially announced some time ago, the video game developed by Unbroken Studios promises exciting matches on the back of flying brooms. After the internal tests, it was during the gala of the Summer Game Fest that the release date of Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions has been confirmed: it’ll be available from September 3.
In the trailer, which can be seen above, it was also confirmed that the game will arrive on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PC(through Steam and Epic Games Store), and Nintendo Switch. On the other hand, they also revealed that PS Plus subscribers will have the opportunity to play it from day 1 on PlayStation consoles. In the game, players will be able to embody Harry Potter and company, play matches, and experience the frenzy of capturing the Golden Snitch.
Exclusive gifts for Hogwarts Legacy players
Those who have Hogwarts Legacy in their possession will receive some exclusive cosmetic items. They are the following:
As published by Bloomberg, Rocksteady is working on a Director’s Cut edition of Hogwarts Legacy. The bulk of the team behind the Batman: Arkham trilogy and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League are focused on the project, although at the moment it has not been officially revealed. The new features that will be implemented are also unknown. Graphic improvements? New content? The truth is the title has yet to receive any expansion since it went on sale in early 2023. The summer update, which includes Photo Mode and some cosmetic extras, is now out.
