Has the Nintendo Switch 2 lineup been revealed? Here’s every Nintendo release in 2025 so far

It’s just been confirmed that the Nintendo Switch 2 will be backward compatible, which means that we may be looking at an interesting lineup in 2025.

Metroid Prime 4

It’s curious. We don’t know when it will even be formally announced nor its release date, but we do know what some of the first Nintendo Switch 2 games are (if it is even called that in the end). The new console is a mystery, but one that is even on the lips of Nintendo itself. The company has spent half the presentation of its latest fiscal results talking about it. On the one hand, they have assured investors that it is not delayed, and on the other, the company has also confirmed that It will be backward compatible with the first Switch.

This leads us to a very logical conclusion: Nintendo games announced for 2025 at that same investor meeting will also be the first to be in the Switch 2 lineup for next year. So far, we can’t really complain as Metroid, Pokémon, Donkey Kong and Xenoblade are in the running. Assuming that the company has kept more than one ace up its sleeve for its presentation (Can you imagine that the long-awaited Super Mario Odyssey 2 was a reality?), next year could be one to remember.
