Henry Cavill, one of the most popular actors of the moment and that in a few days will see the official release of ‘Argyle’, his latest movie. On the occasion of the promotion of ‘Argyle’, Cavill has been able to talk to various media such as Collider, highlighting that he is in the expected reboot of Highlander: “There’s a lot of work to do on my part. It’s going to be a serious journey, I assure you”.

Without giving too much information about the movie, but emphatically confirming his role in the expected return of a legendary saga of the 80s and before which he will have to train intensely to face a role of enormous demand in which he will have to learn to handle the sword:”The training is about to begin in earnest. It’ll be a very long training process, and I’m very excited to get into it. There’s only so much I can tell you at the moment. I want to keep everything under wraps for as long as possible.”

Henry Cavill went so far as to say that he’s a big fan of the saga: “I’ve been a fan of Highlander since I was lad. From the movies in all of their 80s, Queen slathered glory to the TV show with an actor who looked remarkably like one of my brothers. Deep diving into franchise storytelling with all the tools at our disposal, is going to make this an adventure I (and hopefully all of you) shall never forget.”

Nostalgia sells in the movie industry

The return of classics from the past has been a constant in the film industry for decades, and now we are living through a moment in which great works that accompanied us in the 80s and 90s are back in vogue. ‘Highlander’ is a good example, a legendary saga starring two actors of the stature of Christopher Lambert and Sean Connery, and it is expected that this comeback will be a blockbuster.
