Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered is launching on PS5 and PC: release date, price for the update
Aloy’s first adventure is coming back with a massive graphic and performance overhaul as Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered.
Everyone assumed that Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered was a reality. The leaks attested to this, especially that of the ESRB, the body that classifies games by age in the United States. Although they deleted the record, it was too late: The information spread across the internet and through the media in the blink of an eye. As could be expected, PlayStation has not delayed too much and has taken advantage of the State of Play to officially announce the project. As indicated in the trailer, it will go on sale on October 31.
The remastering, which will match the graphics to those of Horizon Forbidden West, will allow those who have the original game to upgrade to the updated version for 9.99 euros.
All projects in the Horizon saga
Horizon Zero Dawn was expanded with The Frozen Wilds expansion, which includes a new story starring Aloy. The PS4 exclusive was later released on PC, while the sequel – Horizon Forbidden West – is also available on consoles and compatibles. Guerrilla developed a single expansion (Burning Shores) that only came out on PS5 and not on the previous generation machine. In recent years, PlayStation has dedicated many resources to this saga. It not only works in the game as a multiplayer, but also outlines the development of Lego Horizon Adventures, a game that comes out on these platforms and on Nintendo Switch. Additionally, Horizon: Call of the Mountain released as a launch title for PS VR2.
Horizon’s third installment is already in development: “We have complete confidence in our new leaders and are convinced that they will lead Guerrilla into a bright future, expanding the world of Horizon with the new Aloy adventure, as well as an exciting online project,” said the studio.
