Best Greatsword Build
The greatsword is a powerhouse weapon in Khazan, ideal for slow but devastating attacks. To maximize its potential:
Equipment
- Weapon: The Fugitive Mage Greatsword is the top choice for its exceptional buffs to charged attacks and stamina damage. For early to mid-game, the Devourer of Darkness Greatsword is a solid alternative, offering poison damage and enhancing the Ghost Arm Block skill.
- Armor Set: The Fugitive Mage Set is the ultimate pick, providing bonuses like increased charged attack damage, reduced stamina damage from guards, and enhanced critical damage. The Devourer of Darkness Set is a great early-game option, especially for its poison effects.
- Accessories: Equip items like the Necklace of Wisdom and Defector’s Ring to boost Spirit regeneration and stamina efficiency.
Stats
- Strength: Focus heavily on Strength as your primary stat to maximize damage and improve agility for better stamina recovery and reduced dodge costs.
- Proficiency: Invest moderately in Proficiency for additional stamina damage and health boosts.
- Endurance: Allocate points here to increase stamina for dodging and attacking.
- Vitality: Add points to Vitality for better health and resistances, ensuring survivability in tough encounters.
Skills
- Core Active Skills:
- Phantom: Night’s Veil: Creates damaging pulses during charged attacks, perfect for staggering enemies.
- Savage Momentum: Enables charged Swift Attacks, forming the backbone of your combos.
- Mortal Blow: Chains Swift Attacks into Potent Blows for devastating damage.
- Armor Breaker: Follow up a successful block with powerful slashes.
- Helm Break: Perform a leaping charged attack while sprinting for quick openings.
- Core Passive Skills:
- Overwhelm: Boosts charge speed and damage for chained attacks.
