The electoral contest between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump marks one of the most polarized scenarios in U.S. politics in recent years. On one side, Harris represents the Democratic camp and on the other, Trump as the Republican leader. More than 66 million voters are expected to cast their ballots, and the country is faced with two diametrically opposed visions on critical issues such as the economy, climate change, and civil rights.

Kamala Harris’ discourse focuses on social equality and strengthening international alliances. In turn, she seeks to mobilize both younger people and minorities by emphasizing social justice and the expansion of health and education programs. Donald Trump, however, insists on an “America First” sentiment and relies on nationalist policies, taking a less interventionist approach in the global arena. His message focuses on rural and traditional voters who are dissatisfied with the current direction of the country.
