How to get Stardew Valley for free on Apple Arcade?

One of the most wholesome farming sims will be available on this Apple service. Take a look at how you can get Stardew Valley on the go.

Since its release in 2016, Stardew Valley has become one of those games that even if you’re not into farm games, you’ve heard of it, and if you know about farm games, you’ve probably played them more than you’d like to admit. From the story of its completely solo development by ConcernedApe (Eric Barone) to its success as an indie title that has reached multiple platforms, this title has created a community that appreciates each of its elements for how rewarding this small game becomes. And now, it will be part of the Apple Arcade subscription.

How do I get Stardew Valley on Apple Arcade?

Stardew Valley is coming to Apple Arcade on July 21st. All you have to do is subscribe to the service and you’ll be able to download it. The indie title is currently available for iOS and iPadOS at a price of $4.99.

Stardew Valley is a farming simulator inspired by Harvest Moon, but with its own unique touch. Like other titles, the player will be able to take charge of a farm and make it thrive by taking care of animals, harvesting crops and building facilities. In addition, players will be able to get to know the community of Pelican Town, help its inhabitants with their problems, participate in festivals and even, why not, find a mate. The valley also includes a cave where you can fight monsters and find treasures, and there is even a desert with its own products to find.

What is Apple Arcade?

Launching in September 2019 as a game subscription service, Apple Arcade will give iOS/tvOS/iPadOS users the option to download and play titles by paying a $4.99 monthly subscription. Think of it as Xbox Game Pass or PlayStation Plus for Apple users. New games are added to the service each month, with up to 200 titles to choose from, both new and classic, from developers such as SEGA, Konami, and indie connoisseurs like Annapurna Interactive and Giant Squid.

Along with Stardew Valley, Apple Arcade will also add the following games to the service:

  • Slay the Spire+ (July 7)
  • LEGO DUPLO WORLD+ (July 7)
  • Ridiculous Fishing EX (July 14)
  • Hello Kitty Island Adventure (July 28)
