How to sign up for the Valorant beta on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S: Will there be crossplay between consoles and PC?

After so many rumors, Riot Games’ first-person shooter Valorant will make the jump to consoles, but first, there will be a beta.

One of the big surprises at Summer Game Fest 2024 was an announcement that had been rumored for some time. After some time on PC, Riot Games will finally bring its first-person team-based shooter Valorant to consoles. Although it was announced that the game will be coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S , the game still does not have a definite release date. For now, however, those interested in the experience will be able to participate in a limited beta starting June 14.

Everything you need to know about signing up for the Valorant Limited Beta

To sign up for the beta, go to the beta registration page and follow these steps

  1. Click on the “Register Now” button.
  2. Next, you will need to be logged in with your Riot Games account.
  3. If you don’t have one, you can create one now.
  4. Once you have done so, follow the steps, and you will be registered.

If selected, applicants will receive an email from Riot Games with instructions on how to access the game. Should we say, be aware of potential phishing? This is not an open beta for all players.

When will the Valorant Limited Beta for consoles begin?

As soon as you receive confirmation, you should know that the beta will begin on June 14th at the following times in the United States.

  • 4:00 PM ET
  • 3:00 PM CT
  • 1:00 PM PT

As for cross-play between consoles and PC, the developers have revealed that there will only be cross-play between console versions. They argue that they are committed to “competitive integrity”, so they claim that “this is the best way to make the experience fair for console and PC players.” In any case, progress will be maintained between all versions of the game.
