How to sign up to be the first to play Nintendo Switch 2 in North America: dates, location and requirements
The Nintendo Switch 2 Experience is coming to our shores next April.
Nintendo Switch 2 is already a reality, the successor to Nintendo’s hybrid console has been officially presented and we will be able to learn more about it in a Nintendo Direct that will take place on April 2nd. But when will we be able to get our hands on the console? The first time will be during April, when it will be available for testing in the United States and Canada, specifically in New York, Los Angeles, Dallas and Toronto, at an event called the Nintendo Switch 2 Experience.
How to be one of the first to try out Nintendo Switch 2
The Nintendo Switch 2 Experience will take place in North America, but also in other European cities such as Paris, London, Berlin, Milan, and Amsterdam. To attend, you need to be one of the lucky ones to get one of the tickets that will be raffled off, and registration to get them will open on January 17 at 12:00 p.m. PT / 3:00 p.m. ET and close on January 26 at 11:59 p.m. local time.
To register, you must have a free Nintendo Account, and you can only register for one of the events, which are closed to residents of each country. In addition, you must be at least 18 years of age, and if you are registering a group of two or more people, even if the group includes participants between the ages of 7 and 17, each member must have a Nintendo Account that is included in the family group. If you are selected, a message will be sent to the email address associated with your Nintendo Account or to the email address associated with the person who registered a family group.
Where will the Nintendo Switch 2 Experience take place in North America?
Opportunities to try out Nintendo’s new console in the United States are as follows:
- New York: April 4-6 at Center415, 417 5th Ave.
- Los Angeles: April 11-13 at Television City, 7800 Beverly Blvd.
- Dallas: April 25-27 at the Embarcadero Building at Fair Park, 1229 Admiral Nimitz Dr., Dallas, N.Y.
