Hulk Hogan threatens to sue Ben Affleck and Matt Damon if they 'cross the line' in movie about WWE legend

‘Killing Gawker’ is about the former professional wrestler and his three-year trial against Gawker.

Terry Gene Bollea, artistically known as Hulk Hogan, is a former WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) wrestler and American actor known around the world. Just this week it was announced that there is a movie in the works about his lawsuit against Gawker, called ‘Killing Gawker’ and produced by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon.

Although the synopsis of the movie was not shared, we can expect a recreation of what was one of the darkest times in Hogan’s life, since the website Gawker disseminated a sexual video without his permission and after a long and intense legal battle, it was closed and ordered to pay 140 million dollars to the former wrestler in damages.

That’s over now, but according to information published exclusively by TMZ, Hogan is considering going back to court to sue Matt Damon and Ben Affleck’s production company! The media outlet explains that the former wrestler’s stance on the movie is “indifferent,” so he is not upset with the mere fact that it is being made. However, he also points out that if at any point it “crosses the line” and goes where it shouldn’t, he won’t hesitate to take legal action.

For now, it is known that Ben Affleck is in talks to play the wrestler and Gus Van Sant, director of such works as ‘Good Will Hunting’ and ‘Milk’, would be in charge of directing the film.
