‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ chronology: order and where to watch all the movies of the classic horror saga
The new film hits theaters to relive the chilling story in which a group of young people tried to hide what happened on that fateful night.
‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ opens in theaters this week (July 18). Is it a remake? a reboot? a sequel? Well, it’s a new story in which the nightmare comes back to haunt a group of young people who run over a man in the middle of the night and try to go on with their lives as if it never happened. The funny thing is that, this time, they have the help of two people we all know, who know perfectly well what the matter is about and could be the key to save them all -or some of them-: the protagonists of the 1997 film. That is, the characters played by Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr. For that very reason, you still have time to catch up, so let’s review the chronological order of the same.
In what order to watch ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’
It is one of those sagas that are very easy to follow, because the chronology of the story follows the same order as the release of each installment. However, you should know that they are not currently part of any large subscription catalog, although there are platforms where you can buy and rent them.

There is also a TV series of ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’
To the surprise of many, the saga also has a series that you can watch on Prime Video, although it is unrelated to the movies, as it is a different adaptation of the novel by screenwriter Lois Duncan. The plot premise is basically the same as always, as it follows a group of young people who run over a man during a night out, who later must face a dark force that seems determined to haunt them for the rest of their lives. The series has only one season of eight episodes.
