In the absence of a remake, user creates an impressive Metal Gear in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

A Twitter user celebrates the announcement of the Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater remake by creating a mecha in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

It’s only been two weeks since the release of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, but we’re already starting to enjoy some crazy creations from players. The immense freedom not only to explore, but also to create true masterpieces is beginning to bring us great surprises, and one of them has to do with a franchise that’s back in the news thanks to the recent announcement of the remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.

A Twitter user has created nothing less than a fully functional Metal Gear, as it can even shoot through its cannons. This user has also added the detail of walking around the mecha to show it in all its glory, resulting in a truly spectacular creation that sets a new bar for Tears of the Kingdom.

Will there be a showdown for GOTY?

Rarely in the first half of a year has there been less discussion about which game will win the most Game of the Year awards at the end of the year. The tremendous critical and popular success of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, along with its historic sales figures, has made it a huge favorite and a before and after in our industry.

“It doesn’t settle for being a sequel that simply polishes and expands on its predecessor,” wrote our colleagues in Spain in their review. “It is the culmination of an idea: a title capable of surprising and overwhelming in equal measure with every choice it makes. On the one hand, it offers one of the best storylines in the saga, and on the other, an infinite number of tools, possibilities, and innovations that make it our new favorite place to simply lose ourselves for hours on end”.

This text concluded with a perfect score, a 10, which far from being an oasis in the desert, is the norm in reviews around the world, as evidenced by the fabulous 95 that the game looks in Metacritic.
