Invincible Season 2 now has a return date on Prime Video
Mark Grayson left us on a cliffhanger with his mid-season finale, but we finally have a date for the return of Invincible to our televisions.
Invincible Season 2, Part 2 now has a return date on Prime Video, and we will still have time to catch up or revisit the bloody and brutal adventures of Mark Grayson.
Invincible returns with Season 2 in March
A new trailer on YouTube reveals that the sequel to Robert Kirkman’s (The Walking Dead) comic book-inspired drama will premiere on Thursday, March 14, 2024. You can check out the trailer below:
The trailer is short and to the point, so we don’t really get a glimpse of what to expect for the rest of the season. This second half will feature a total of four new episodes, and like previous seasons, will be released on a weekly basis.
The first part of Season 2 premiered on November 3rd of last year and showed its first glimpse at New York Comic Con 2023. The first half of the season came with a total of 4 episodes that showed us Mark Grayson recovering from the traumas of the Season 1 finale, rebuilding his life as a teenage high school graduate moving away to college with his girlfriend, but also trying to balance his life with the need to become a superhero again, both on Earth and in other worlds.
Although we’re getting ahead of ourselves, there’s still a lot to see from Invincible, as the show has been renewed for a third season.
What is Invincible about?
Based on the groundbreaking comic book by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley, which, by the way, celebrates its 21st anniversary today, Invincible tells the story of Mark Grayson, son of superhero Omni-Man, who, like his father, possesses otherworldly powers. Academy Award winner J.K. Simmons and Academy Award nominee Steven Yeun headline the voice cast, which also includes Sandra Oh, Zazie Beetz, Gillian Jacobs, Jason Mantzoukas, Zachary Quinto, Mark Hamill and Walton Goggins.
