iPhone Pocket ISSEY MIYAKE: price, release date, and design details of Apple’s new fashion collab

Apple and the renowned Japanese design house ISSEY MIYAKE have unveiled the iPhone Pocket, a unique, limited-edition accessory. Inspired by the fundamental design philosophy of “a piece of cloth,” the accessory features a singular 3D-knitted construction designed to hold any iPhone model, as well as other small, pocketable items.

The new accessory boasts a ribbed open structure that incorporates the qualities of the original pleats patented by ISSEY MIYAKE. This innovative textile design allows the pouch to fully enclose an iPhone and then expand to fit more daily items. Critically, when stretched, the open knitting subtly reveals its contents and allows users to peek at their iPhone display without fully removing it.

This versatility significantly benefits the user experience. The iPhone Pocket can be worn in multiple ways—carried handheld, tied onto a bag, or worn directly on the body—allowing players to express their style. Yoshiyuki Miyamae, design director of MIYAKE DESIGN STUDIO, emphasized this concept: “iPhone Pocket explores the concept of ‘the joy of wearing iPhone in your own way.’”

When does the iPhone Pocket will be available and how much will it cost?

The iPhone Pocket goes on sale this Friday, November 14, at select Apple Store locations and online at apple.com across key global markets, including the U.S., U.K., Japan, and France. The limited-edition iPhone Pocket comes in two distinct styles and price points:

• Short Strap Design: Retails for $149.95 (U.S.) and is available in eight playful colors: lemon, mandarin, purple, pink, peacock, sapphire, cinnamon, and black.
• Long Strap Design: Retails for $229.95 (U.S.) and is available in a more subdued palette of sapphire, cinnamon, and black.

Customers interested in securing this high-fashion accessory can purchase it starting November 14 online and at flagship retail locations such as Apple SoHo in New York City, Apple Regent Street in London, and Apple Ginza in Tokyo.
