What are the changes in Stardew Valley Update 1.6?
To say that the notes for this update are long would be an understatement, but it’s the highlight of the month. There are a lot of improvements in the game, from new NPC dialogues to changes in the quality of life, and items, to things as small as amazing as putting hats on your dog or cat. Starting with the new functionalities and additions, 1.6 focuses on the inclusion of new features such as a ‘’Masteries’' system, which can be accessed from a new area and aims to give us improvements and new objects. It also highlights the new type of farm, the prairie.
All this without forgetting the new festivals and events such as:
The visual aspect of the game has also received attention, including waterfalls and new decorations for selected events, such as pumpkins for fall. New variations of birds or even a redrawing of the world map to better reflect the exact location of places.
The graphical effects have also been improved to better reflect the seasons. Particularly detailed are the changes in lighting, creating different atmospheres in winter, as well as different types of indoor lighting during the day and night.
Is Stardew Valley cross-platform?
Can you play Stardew Valley in multiplayer mode with players from other consoles? The short answer is no. On the other hand, only PC gamers will be able to play multiplayer with players on both PC and Mac. Now, it’s worth remembering that even if there was a possibility of cross-platform play, you still wouldn’t be able to do so, as this update only arrived for PC users, with no date set for its console version.
