It seems like a coincidence, but the next two Batman movies are delaying their release dates
It will be a long time before we see Batman in the cinema again.

The year is not over and the bad news for Batman fans is coming. In a fact that seems coincidental, but at the same time it is not, considering how chaotic the new DC Universe continues to be now with James Gunn at the helm. Both Batman movies that are in development look like they will take a little longer than expected to hit theaters.
The Batman II and The Brave and the Bold will be a long time coming.
First, The Batman II, starring Robert Pattinson as Batman and directed by Matt Reeves, has had its official release date pushed back, according to Variety. The sequel to The Batman, which debuted in 2022, is moving again its release date from October 2, 2026, to October 1, 2027. Instead, that slot will be taken by an upcoming untitled film directed by Alejandro. G. Iñárritu and starring Tom Cruise.
It should be remembered that the movie was originally scheduled to be released in 2025. However, recent changes at DC Studios mean that Matt Reeves' film starring Robert Pattinson is not part of the new DC Extended Universe canon now directed by James Gunn.
For its part, the movie that is part of the new DC universe, The Brave and the Bold, will have a slight delay, according to its own director, the Argentine Andy Muschietti. It was during a recent conservation in the podcast California Secreta that he mentioned that “the Batman project has been proposed a little” this because he has other movies.

At the time, there were not many details about this movie, other than the fact that it was part of the first chapter of the new DCU, Chapter 1: Gods and Monsters, and that it would introduce Bruce Wayne and Damian Wayne as the Batman and Robin of this universe. It did not have a release date, so there was not much to look forward to.
