One Piece

It’s not what it seems, but why Shanks loses his arm in ‘One Piece’ might be very obscure

A mythical moment that could have an explanation that no one could have imagined.

one piece

Chapter after chapter, ‘One Piece’ never ceases to surprise. The series is entering its final saga, specifically the Elbaph arc, one of the most anticipated by fans of Eiichiro Oda’s work for decades. Chapter 1140 of the manga has introduced us to new characters and previously unknown information, the latter of which may make sense of one of the events that has raised more doubts as the story has progressed, due to the enormous power of the character involved and the ease with which he loses a limb.

The scene in which Shanks saves Luffy from the threat of a Sea King is one of the most emblematic moments in the whole of ‘One Piece’. A huge sacrifice for the future, where he loses an arm to save the protagonist, and then demonstrates how fearsome his haki is with a look that makes the beast flee. How could a character of his size lose an arm? There are many doubts, but now a possibility opens up thanks to chapter 1140.

A new theory about a historical event in One Piece

Since the Egghead arc, we have seen summoning circles used by both members of the Gorosei and the God’s Knights to instantly move to different places. How are they able to access them? One of the new Kami no Shikidan, Saint Killingham of the Rimoshifu family, confesses that only those with a mark can be summoned, while the other God’s Knight, Saint Sommers of the Shepherd family, has a suspicious circular tattoo on his arm that could be the mark.

Would Shanks have this mark and take advantage of the situation in which he saves Luffy to lose his arm and shed it? This is a theory that has been raised in the world of One Piece and will certainly be a topic of discussion.
