Jennifer Aniston confirms if she used a body double for her full-body nude that broke the Internet
The famous ‘Friends’ actress starred in ‘The Break-Up’ after breaking up with Brad Pitt, a comedy in which she leaves nothing to the imagination.

Jennifer Aniston starred alongside Vince Vaughn in the romantic comedy with dramatic touches ‘The Break-Up’ in 2006, a film that was a catharsis for the famous Friends actress, who at the time had just separated from Brad Pitt. The film is precisely about that, about a couple, Brooke and Gary, who, after moving in together, go into crisis and decide to separate. In one of the most erroneous decisions of the film, Brooke decides to make Gary jealous by walking around the house naked while he plays a boxing video game on his brand new PlayStation 2. Was it really Jennifer Aniston who shot that full nude scene? The actress confirmed it at the time: “it was so specifically me.”
Jennifer Aniston filmed her own full nude scene in ‘The Break-Up’
So, in the middle of a break-up, while Gary (the character played by Vince Vaughn) plays PlayStation 2 in his living room (as a curiosity, it seems that he plays a game of the popular boxing saga Fight Night Round), Brooke (Jennifer Aniston’s character) decides to make her partner jealous by walking around the house naked after getting out of the shower. Well, according to the actress herself, she did not use a body double to shoot that scene.

But why didn’t she do it? It is common for many famous actresses to use body doubles to shoot nude scenes, either out of embarrassment, for not wanting to be exposed to possible leaks or simply because they don’t want to. However, Aniston did not want to; she preferred to shoot the scene in its entirety without body doubles. This is what the actress explained in an interview, confirming that she “definitely” did not use a body double to film the nude scene. According to her, it would have been quite difficult to alternate between the two because of the way it was going to be shot:
“The problem is because the way it was shot, it was so specifically me... They wanted to make it a tricky camera so you saw the face and then you go to the back. It was hard to cut, unless you did it,” Jennifer Aniston explains. However, her decision didn’t turn out to be entirely favorable, as after the film’s release, discarded shots from the shoot began to circulate on the Internet, showing more of her body than what was seen in the final cut.

Thanks to ‘The Break-Up’, both stars did precisely the opposite in real life, as they began a romantic relationship in the middle of filming until their separation in 2006. A relationship that “literally” gave her “her life back,” as Aniston told Vogue: “He was charming, funny and perfect for the time we spent together, and I needed him. And I needed him - he didn’t hold a grudge after the break-up!” the actress assured after breaking up with Vince Vaughn.
‘The Break-Up’ can be seen through platforms such as Starz.
