‘Joker: Folie a Deux’ final trailer sets Gotham on fire with Joaquin Phoenix’s return
Todd Phillips’ long-awaited return to his grimly realistic version of Gotham is almost here, as a final trailer for ‘Joker: Folie a Deux’ sets the stage one last time.
With only three weeks left before its theatrical release on October 4, the final trailer for ‘Joker 2′ (’Joker: Folie à Deux’) confirms why it is one of the most anticipated films of 2024. You can find it below these lines, and it is a festival of emotions: passion, hatred, revenge...All with the expected musical focus of the film and the uncanny sense of humor of its protagonist.
Todd Phillips, director of the film, began last August that he doesn’t see a sequel when he thinks about ‘Joker 2′: “I don’t think of it as a sequel. The Hangover 2 was a sequel. Often a sequel is more of the same, but bigger. Of course, ‘Joker Folie À Deux’ is a sequel, but it felt like we were doing something totally different. It’s tonally and inherently something much more different. The first subverted expectations of what it was. So how do we do it again?” he explained.
