‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ and the unexpected appearance of the most beloved character

‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ is moving relentlessly toward its conclusion, with a final battle against Sukuna that began over a year ago. Chapter 260 of the manga has not yet been released, but some screenshots show something that seemed impossible but is something that some fans of the series had theorized: the return of Satoru Gojo.

Is this possible? We don’t know, his death seemed to be a fact, after a fierce battle against Sukuna in which he faced both him and what Megumi Fushiguro’s body and her ability gave him, with a summoning as powerful as Mahogara, and a cut that literally split him in half. A scene that went viral, a spoiler that was hard to avoid and broke the hearts of fans around the world.

What does this apparition mean? We will know better once chapter 260 of the manga is available, although some people think it is just a mental apparition. If his presence is fully physical, we could have several scenarios, involving Kenjaku or some kind of binding vow with which Gojo has sacrificed one of his eyes (the right eye is not shown in the picture) and thus the Six Eyes ability to all return and have one last chance in battle.

The dreaded spoilers are unfortunately the order of the day in the manga industry, and even those who follow a series week after week are not safe from finding out in advance what will happen in the next chapter. Gege Akutami’s work is coming to an end, and every panel seen in advance may reveal some event that we could not have imagined, such as the possible return of Satoru Gojo.
