‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ continues to dominate manga, as its character popularity polls show
Satoru Gojo continues to be king of the Manga world besides not being the main star of ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’, but the popularity polls don’t lie.
‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ is preparing for its grand finale, and Weekly Shonen Jump has launched the fourth popularity survey of the manga. With only three chapters left, the Japanese publication has revealed to us the characters most loved by readers, and the one that stands out the most does so in a forceful way and no one will be surprised: Satoru Gojo. Despite his end, he continues to be the most beloved figure in the work of Gege Akutami, almost tripling the votes of Yuji Itadori who confirms his second position and demonstrates that it is a different kind of shonen manga, one in which the protagonist is not the most voted by readers and that also has the courage to end the life of his most popular character.
The 10 most popular characters of ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ in its fourth popularity poll are the following:
‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ is in its final stretch this month
The final section of ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ holds many surprises and one of the most notable is the appearance of Nobara Kugisaki, which to the surprise of some is not among the ten most popular characters. What position is he in? 14th place with 1,514 votes. Another surprise is seeing Maki Zenin in position number 13, while Naoya Zenin is in fifth position, being a character with a brief but very forceful appearance.
Key and popular characters like Aoi Todo finish at number 19 or the lucky Kinji Hakari at number 20. The survey shows that many figures from the work are still very present despite having appeared briefly or their role ending years ago. Be that as it may, the king is still Satoru Gojo and nothing suggests that this will change.
