Jujutsu Kaisen is one of the most popular manga in the world. Gege Akutami’s work has earned a legion of fans in its own right, and his anime is on the same level as, and in many moments even better than, the original work. The work of the animation studio MAPPA is tremendous, and the creator of the manga himself makes this clear by praising some moments of the brutal arc of ‘The Shibuya Incident’.

Gege Akutami took to social media to highlight the excitement he felt watching the spectacular fight between Yuji Itadori and Choso at the Shibuya subway station. “Thank you for episode thirteen of season two! It was an opulent episode filled with incredibly beautiful animation and lighting! I’m really glad that Choso was much more persistent in the fight than in the manga.” Without a doubt, the latest Jujutsu Kaisen episode was one that will be remembered for a long time as one of the best fights in the series, with amazing quality and direction.

Jujutsu Kaisen and a second season that continues to impress

From the start, the second season of Jujutsu Kaisen has earned the praise of its fans. After the first chapters took us into the past of Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto, we returned to the present and quickly unleashed chaos in Shibuya. Reactions and emotions of all kinds have already gone through our heads, but also the feeling that everything has just begun in an arc that is gradually approaching a final stretch where chaos will take over one of the most important areas of Tokyo.

Gege Akutami’s manganime about sorcerers is a success and proves to be a non-generic Shonen, which gets closer to Sein as it progresses. The most powerful wizard of the series has been imprisoned, and without his power, evil has an opportunity that has eluded it for decades.
