Anime
Jujutsu Kaisen movie about Satoru Gojo's past has a release date and will arrive in 2025
A big screen compilation to enjoy the past in the best quality.
The manga has come to an end, but the fever for ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ is still at its peak and there is still much to be adapted in the anime version. With the third season in production, it will be possible to enjoy the work of Gege Akutami on the big screen again before its premiere, as the arc known as Hidden Inventory that we enjoyed in the anime will have a movie version that will compile the first five episodes of the second season. A way to relive the past of Saturo Gojo in his high school years on the big screen.
The film will be released in Japan on May 30, 2025, and there is still no date for its release in other countries, but it is expected that given the enormous popularity of the series, its arrival in theaters around the world will be confirmed at some point. A perfect time to release in theaters an arc that by its presentation is ideal for the beginning of the summer season, and that will take us back 12 years behind the events of the series, being able to see the events that completely defined the character of Gojo and his best friend, Suguru Geto.
Jujutsu Kaisen' and Compilation Movies in the Anime Industry
The trend of compilation movies in the anime industry is not new, but in recent years it has begun to become a constant on the part of many works, trying to serve as a gateway for their fans to enjoy events already experienced in the anime on the big screen and in the best quality. The news has been received with enthusiasm by some fans, but others wonder if it will add something extra or simply be a sum of everything already seen in the anime.
