Jump Festa 25 has officially ended, but it left us with a wealth of information after three days of announcements about our favorite anime and manga. A total of 36 Shonen Jump anime and manga were presented with details during these days of celebration. Here we summarize the 16 most important announcements, including both anime and manga that you already know and others that could be the names we’ll be hearing in the coming months.
Jujutsu Kaisen
A teaser image was released for the continuation of the anime. The Hidden Inventory/Premature compilation movie will be released on May 30, 2025. Meanwhile, the recently completed Jujutsu Kaisen manga will have a new 16-page epilogue.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba
Natsuki Hanae, Hiro Shimono and Yoshitsugu Matsuoka were on stage, and although there were no major announcements, images of characters from the Swordsmith Village arc were revealed.
Rurouni Kenshin
Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Disturbance revealed a new image and trailer featuring the opening theme Burn by Yama and WurtS. The game will be released on January 9, 2025.
Sakamoto Days
A new trailer featuring the final theme “Fuutsu” by Conton Candy has been released. The cast is completed by Hiroki Yasumoto as Hyo, Hochu Otsuka as Takamura and Daisuke Namikawa as X/Slur. The anime will be released in two episodes on Netflix in Japan, so the weekly releases outside of Japan will be delayed by one week.
Dr. STONE
A new trailer has been unveiled and the final season of the anime will consist of three episodes.
Gintama
A trailer was released and the release date was announced: October 2025. Bandai Namco Pictures is behind the animation and Hideaki Sorachi made an illustration of Sakata wearing Sakamoto’s outfit (from Sakamoto Days).
SPY x FAMILY
They introduced the main cast: the Forgers and Special Mission 5, a look back at the last five years of the manga, which began in 2019. It was confirmed that SPY x FAMILY will return in October 2025.
Dan da dan
Although the sequel had already been announced, the cast gathered to reminisce about the highlights of the first season. Season two will premiere in July 2025. A sneak peek was presented along with the announcement of a store opening.
Dragon Ball
The cast of Dragon Ball DAIMA, led by Masako Nozawa, gathered to share anecdotes from the set. A commemorative box for the 40th anniversary of Dragon Ball was also presented.
My Hero Academia
It was revealed that season 8 (the final season) will premiere in the fall of 2025. The panel was attended by Daiki Yamashita (Deku), Nobuhiko Okamoto (Bakugo), Yuki Kaji (Shoto) and Kenta Miyake (All Might). At the end of the event, a TV anime adaptation of the spin-off manga My Hero Academia: Watchmen was announced. An image was also released.
BLEACH: Thousand Year Blood War
Images and a synopsis of the upcoming one-hour finale special were released. A video recap of episodes 25 to 38 is also available.
Chainsaw Man
The Super Stage panel, featuring Kikunosuke Toya (Denji), Shogo Sakata (Aki), Fairouz Ai (Power), and Maaya Uchida (Angel Devil), previewed the upcoming movie Chainsaw Man: The Reze Arc, which will be released in 2025. Tatsuki Fujimoto’s message was also shown. The author asks the fans to continue to support the team who are working very hard.
Haikyu!!!
Yuki Kaji, Ayumu Murase and Kaito Ishikawa gave a summary of the highlights of the anime so far. The Haikyu!!! Fun Park (theme park) was announced for June 2025 with a picture of Haruichi Furudate.
Oshi no Ko
Although news about the third season was expected, Oshi no Ko only talked about the “Fan Appreciation” event scheduled for February.
Kaiju No. 8
The previously announced second season of the anime will premiere in July 2025, it was announced with a teaser image. A new trailer for the upcoming compilation movie was also unveiled, including the special Hoshina’s Day Off. One Republic returns to perform the movie’s final theme song.
ONE PIECE
Franky’s new voice actor was announced, with Kazuki Yao passing the torch to his colleague Subaru Kimura. The cast showed a video of the making of the new illustration, which will be released in the Weekly Shonen Jump tomorrow. The stage ended with the cast performing Family. After the performance, an image and a trailer for the continuation of the One Piece anime were shown. The series will resume in April after a break of several months.
