Konami has unveiled the first hour and a half of the Silent Hill 2 remake

Konami and Bloober Team have unveiled the first hour and a half of the upcoming Silent Hill 2 remake, with some incredible results.

Konami giving Bloober Team the keys to the remake most anticipated by horror fans was a surprising and worrying choice. The first teasers of the title did not let fans be overly optimistic. However, time seems to be slowly proving the publisher right by placing their trust in the studio after The Medium. It was the publisher itself who shared the first hour and a half of the Silent Hill 2 remake through certain YouTubers, like the video below from the extremely popular Japanese channel, 2-Bro. There are spoilers, of course, but the curiosity to know more about the final version outweighs everything else.

With Silent Hill 2 Remake, “Bloober has broken all our predictions”

With those words we began our final impressions after playing an extensive demo of the game. “We were the first with doubts and although the controversies had eaten away at our hopes, the three hours tested they have disarmed us of arguments against. We can barely fault what was played. It looks like a scandal and even the additions (more than we thought) seem to fit perfectly,” we said.

And we continued: “We must admit that the developer has not taken the easy way out. Instead of making a 1:1 remake, they have chosen to add and improve the experience and to our surprise, from the start the game turned out great. We are eager to see if the rest of the game is as good as these first hours and we face all these unknowns with optimism.” It is clear that Silent Hill 2 Remake has become one of the most anticipated of the year. It won’t take long to hit the market: it will debut on October 8 on PS5 and PC.
