League of Legends Worlds 2024 gets its new theme song by Linkin Park: ‘Heavy Is The Crown’
Riot Games has just revealed that Linkin Park is the band behind the theme for Worlds 2024, with the song out for everyone to enjoy.
Linkin Park, the famous rock band that recently returned to the news by introducing its new vocalist Emily Armstrong after the death in 2017 of its original singer Chester Bennington, will be the ones performing the anthem for the League of Legends World Championship 2024 on Tuesday September 24 with their new song ‘Heavy Is The Crown’, whose premiere can be followed tomorrow in the livestream below.

‘Heavy Is The Crown’ will be the second single from the new studio album From Zero by Linkin Park, which will go on sale next November 15, an album that will also mark the return of the band after seven years since their previous album, One More Light. And what better occasion than the League of Legends World Championship to premiere a song that will, in turn, be the anthem of one of the most popular gaming events in the world.
The previous LoL Worlds anthem, ‘GODS’ by NewJeans, broke all records for League of Legends, reaching close to 270 million views worldwide across various platforms and with almost 100 million views on the official League of Legends YouTube channel.
