Animal Crossing reaches new horizons with the official announcement of its collaboration with LEGO.

Through a short teaser posted on the official Nintendo of America social media channels, we see characters such as Tom Nook, Isabelle and Kapp’n as the characteristic LEGO minifigs. The trailer shows some details of the brand’s signature aesthetic, with plants, trees with fruit, flowers and other elements from the series, ending with the classic balloon floating in the air with a gift hanging from it. For now, no further details have been given, but one can only hope that these sets will have multiple elements to customize our own village or island where they will coexist with the characteristic animals of the series. You can check out the teaser below.

The first sets of this collaboration had been leaked in August this year, and finally having a confirmation makes our wallets tremble. According to these leaks, there are 5 sets that will be available in March 2024 and will have prices ranging from $14.99 to $74.99 , making them much more affordable than other sets inspired by video games of the brand. For now, all these remains to be confirmed by LEGO is what these sets are and if their price will be maintained.

Animal Crossing triumphs on Nintendo Switch

The release of the latest title in the series, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, became a true phenomenon, arriving just as the COVID-19 pandemic began. As a result, Nintendo’s game became one of the best-selling titles on the console, significantly increasing the number of players for what was considered a niche series, reaching 42.79 million copies sold, second only to the undisputed king of the console, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, with over 50 million copies sold. The success of Animal Crossing: New Horizons has led him to collaborate with various brands in recent years, including Puma and Uniqlo.
