Liar’s Bar, the latest viral game on Steam that has managed to dethrone Diablo IV
With a concurrent player peak of over 82,000 users, Liar’s Bar has become the latest viral game on Steam leading the charts.
If you are one of those who most enjoy playing for hours with friends, you are in luck. ‘Liar’s Bar’ is a new party game that is rocking Steam and its numbers have even surpassed those of ‘Diablo IV’. Similar to other video games like ‘Mario Party’ or ‘1, 2 Switch’ that include minigames, this one does too. It is an excellent alternative for those who love this type of games and will also allow you to have fun but from a more adult perspective and with lies as your greatest allies.
Its early access has been available since October 2 with it so far only being available on PC. The game’s official description reads: “Step into Liar’s Bar, the most twisted and thrilling hangout in town. This isn’t your average pub – it’s a den of lies, deception, and mind games. Grab a seat at a table of four and immerse yourself in the ultimate first-person multiplayer online experience where cunning and trickery are the name of the game.”
What is ‘Liar’s Bar’?
This Curve Animation project will allow you to choose between four characters: a buffalo, a fox, a dog, and a pig. To date it has two mini-games, the first consists of throwing cards from our deck that matches the card on the table, and at any time we can point out someone, accusing them of being a liar. If we get it right, that person must grab his revolver and point it at his head. The revolver has a single bullet inside of a six-cylinder drum, that is, if you are lucky you can continue playing but if not your game will be over.
The other mode of play is with dice. Each player must roll six dice and make a bet on the value of the dice. The next participant must raise the bet and the game will end when someone thinks he is lying. In this case, the penance will not be a gun but drinking from a bottle of poison.
