Little Nightmares 3 gets delayed until 2025 with Supermassive Games needing more time

Little Nightmares 3 will be released in 2025, a delay that has been confirmed Bandai Namco and Supermassive Games. The developer and publisher both want to dedicate more time to the game so that this long-awaited third installment can live up to the series, but we won’t have to wait that long to see news about the game, with Supermassive Games confirming that news will be shown this summer.

“Quality is a top priority for us, and we know you feel the same way. For this reason, we’ve made the decision to shift the release of the game to 2025. We’ll be sharing more about Little Nightmares III later this summer, so please bear with us and look forward to further updates,” says the announcement on the game’s official Twitter/X account.

A renowned series that passes into the hands of Supermassive Games

The horror series was created by Tarsier Studios, which has belonged to Embracer Group since 2019, and which in the purchase agreement left an intellectual property as prominent as Little Nightmares in the hands of its previous distributor, Bandai Namco. Supermassive Games are now in charge of the third installment, so it will be necessary to see if the creators of titles like Until Dawn or everything related to The Dark Pictures Anthology manage to transmit the terror and mastery of the first two games.
