Margot Robbie confesses the most painful failure of her career

Margot Robbie’s filmography includes very popular movies, and although there are better and worse, none is as controversial as ‘Babylon’, a movie that was harshly criticized at the time, but over the years has finally become a cult gem with many fans. Surely the Australian actress is happy to see what many people think of her, but that doesn’t stop her from regretting the most painful failure of her career.
Margot Robbie has been thinking about this, imagining a future in which she’s not at all sure what people will think: “I wonder if in 20 years people are gonna be like ‘Wait, Babylon didn’t do well at the time? That’s crazy.’”
On FilmAffinity, ‘Babylon’ has a rating of 6.9 out of 10 by users, although if we take a look at the specialized critics, its reality is very different: 21 positive reviews, 19 negative and 16 mixed.
The movie itself is a scathing critique of how the Hollywood industry can devour both the biggest stars and the most naive wannabes. An eccentric and intense madness that seems to have no end, in which a girl who dreams of making it on the big screen (Margot Robbie), a stressed-out star (Brad Pitt) and a young man who can’t imagine what he’s getting into (Diego Calva) cross paths in the most surreal way possible.
