Marvel already has a favorite actor to be Kang the Conqueror instead of Jonathan Majors
A very prolific actor could be headed to the MCU to take the place of Kang the Conqueror, a key character of the current Multiverse Saga, and to fill the void left by Jonathan Majors’ exit.
One of the most important characters in MCU currently is Kang the Conqueror, a villain who is expected to replace Thanos as the great “Big Bad”of the Avengers. However, all the problems around actor Jonathan Majors have ended up leading to the decision that he will no longer paly the character in the upcoming films and series in which he was set to appear, and as revealed by Daniel Richtman in social media, John David Washington is being considered for the role of Kang the Conqueror. An outstanding actor who in recent years has starred in films such as ‘Tenet’ and ‘The Creator’, and who seems to fit perfectly into what is expected to be one of Marvel’s most important characters in coming years.
Much is expected of Kang the Conqueror, a villain who knows how to face all kinds of problems thanks to the enormous number of trips he has made throughout different multiverses, facing all kinds of problems and overcoming an infinite number of Marvel heroes. His objective? To conquer every reality, and all with the technology that he himself has created. And, as incredible as it may seem, he is still only a human.
The Jonathan Majors problem in the MCU
Jonathan Majors’ problems with justice have ended up impacting his acting career, which was soaring high with a role as important as Kang the Conqueror within the MCU. A jury in the New York court deliberated for three days last December until declaring Majors guilty of misdemeanor and assault, which carries a penalty of up to one year in prison, with the sentence being set to begin on February 6.
Majors’ lawyer, Priya Chaudhry, has already stated that the actor wants to “clear his name completely”, but for now we will have to wait to find out what future awaits him in the world of acting.
