Marvel officially delays its biggest upcoming movies: from Avengers to Captain America

Bad news for fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Disney has shared a new schedule for its productions on the big screen. From Captain America: Brave New World to Avengers: Kang Dynasty, the biggest upcoming Marvel names have a new release date, way beyond what was previously expected:

What is the new Marvel release calendar?

The most surprising delay is that of the new Avengers chapter, which moves its date a whole year later than the initial plans. There is no doubt that the ongoing writers’ strike, among other factors, has had an impact on the course the studio had planned. All of them are part of the expected final stretch of Phase 5 and the introduction to Phase 6.

What doesn’t change is the release schedule for this 2023. The closest production to release right now is the Secret Invasion series, which will premiere on June 21 exclusively on Disney+.
