Marvel's Blade shares its first artwork, and Arkane Studios (Dishonored) sparks excitement

The developer behind Dishonored, Prey, and Deathloop has released the first concept art for their upcoming game.

It was one of the big announcements of The Game Awards 2023 and the expectation generated by Marvel’s Blade has reached the ears of the developer. Arkane Studios wanted to thank the support of the public on social networks and has shared some first “Here’s some exclusive eye candy from our Art Heroes at Lyon.”

In them it is impossible not to remember Wesley Snipes and especially in the first one, certain environments of the studio’s masterpiece, Dishonored. The studio wants to close the door on the Redfall flop and this is how Dinga Bakaba, director of Marvel’s Blade, talks about his next project:

“As a kid of mixed origins, I felt a special connection to Blade – a hero with a dual heritage himself. The opportunity to put our spin on this character is a dream of mine and a challenge that our team embraces with a passion. We couldn’t be happier to put players in Blade’s boots, as he becomes the champion of my hometown of Paris, one stake at a time.”

Bill Rosemann, Vice President and Creative Director of Marvel Games, is equally excited: “In honor of Blade’s 50th anniversary, we have found the perfect match for the Daywalker in Arkane Lyon, a studio of uncompromising artists who continually push the boundaries of game design and innovation. In addition to their award-winning talent, it’s their personal passion and bold vision for our half-human, half-vampire iconoclast that makes this collaboration a perfect fit.”
