Mega Gardevoir ex leads Pokémon TCG Pocket’s newest expansion, Fantastical Parade
New cards, events, and trading improvements arrive starting this month.
After a brief rest, Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket, is set for a major content update. players worldwide will be able to dive into the brand-new expansion, Fantastical Parade, on January 29, 2026.
The centerpiece of this expansion is the introduction of new Mega Evolution Pokémon ex cards. Fans can look forward to opening booster packs featuring the powerful Mega Gardevoir, a fan-favorite that promises to bring a new level of intensity to matches. Additionally, the Legendary Pokémon Ogerpon will make its app debut as Teal Mask Ogerpon ex. Beyond powerful creatures, the expansion introduces a brand-new card subtype: Stadiums. These cards will occupy a new space in the in-play zone, altering battle conditions and providing players with fresh tactical options to overcome their opponents.
Better Ways to Trade and Battle
In addition to the new cards, the update brings long-awaited quality-of-life improvements. A new Message Function will be integrated into the trade feature, allowing users to communicate via preset messages. This will help players clarify if they are looking for specific wishlisted cards or even alternate-language versions, making the social experience much smoother and more efficient. For those who enjoy the solo experience, a Random Battle option is arriving. This mode keeps players on their toes by making the opponent’s deck a complete surprise until the match begins, encouraging more versatile deck-building.

The celebration continues with several in-game events. Starting January 29, players can tackle Elite Deck Gift Missions to earn a Fire-type deck featuring Mega Blaziken ex and Entei ex.
