Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition is a reality, play in a virtual room with Game Pass included

An amazing collaboration opens Xbox’s doors to the world of virtual reality.

Update:

Xbox’s strategy with its slogan “This is an Xbox” doesn’t seem to stop. If earlier this month during the Xbox Games Showcase it surprised us with its partnership with Asus and the upcoming ROG Xbox Ally, this morning it came to show that it has even more. Xbox has deepened a collaboration with Meta to launch a virtual reality headset under the name of Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition.

What’s new with the Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition?

This version of the Meta Quest 3S, which includes 128 GB of storage, is distinguished by an aesthetic that honors the Xbox, with the device and its Touch Plus controls arriving in a branded black and green design. This edition comes with a limited edition Xbox wireless controller, as well as 3 months of Meta Horizon subscription and 3 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

Now, the “This is an Xbox” part comes with the integration that allows Xbox Game Pass users to access the catalog of games through the cloud in the viewer through the Xbox app in Quest. It is worth mentioning that no, it will not transform the experiences into VR games, but through this headset we will be able to see a virtual screen the size of a movie theater where the games are projected. In addition, by having options such as Xbox Play Anywhere, cross-play will allow you to play your games on Meta Quest 3S and then return to your console or PC to continue playing.

How much does the Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition cost?

This edition will arrive at a price of $399.99 in the United States and will be available starting today at Best Buy or directly from Meta’s website. Within the Xbox Wire post, it is mentioned that quantities of this device are limited.
