A film adaptation of Metal Gear?

The development of the Metal Gear Solid movie in Hollywood has been a long time coming, having been originally announced in 2012, although Kojima had been planning a film since 2006. By 2019, Jordan Vogt-Roberts (Kong: Skull Island) was attached to direct the film, and by 2020, there was already chatter about Oscar Isaac as the lead actor to bring Solid Snake to life.
