Metallica arrives in Fortnite Festival Season 4 with new outfits and songs: New content overview

Metallica is coming to Fortnite Festival in Season 4 of this Fortnite music game mode with patch 30.10. The music group brings with them new outfits, themed instruments, and some of their most popular songs such as Enter Sandman, Ride the Lighting, or Master of Puppets. As we can see from the corresponding blog post on the game’s official website, Metallica is coming to Fortnite Festival on June 13, 2024. Along for the ride are James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, and Robert Trujillo’s new outfits, exclusive to the Fortnite Festival Season 4 Festival Pass, which you can see below:

These four outfits are exclusive to the Fortnite Festival Pass, which ends next year on August 16, 2024, so we’ll have about two months to unlock them as we progress through the pass once we purchase it.

In addition to the “normal” Metallica outfits, four new outfits named Puppet Master Kirk, Puppet Master James, Puppet Master Robert, and Puppet Master Lars  are coming to the Fortnite store:

These four Store Outfits can come and go from the store whenever Epic Games wants, and they do not have any sort of time exclusivity like the four outfits associated with the Season 4 Festival Pass.

Keep in mind, however, that Fortnite outfits are only cosmetic items and at no time do they make us stronger than other players; they are just a way to differentiate ourselves from the rest of the people. Still, this is a golden opportunity for Metallica fans to play Fortnite as their favorite musicians, as the outfits are not limited to Fortnite Festival mode, but can be used in all game modes, such as Battle Royale, Creative, and Save the World.

Metallica is the face of this new Fortnite Festival Season 4, which previously featured The Weeknd, Lady Gaga, and Billie Eilish as featured artists. This new collaboration highlights the ability of both Fortnite and Epic Games to engage world-renowned stars across genres, who agree to add their songs and their own skins for players around the world to enjoy.

New Metallica-themed Festival Pass for Fortnite Festival Season 4.

Fortnite Festival Season 4 brings with it a new pass that, like the previous season, is divided into two halves: the free reward track allows all players to earn rewards simply by playing Fortnite Festival, while the premium reward track is only accessible to players who pay 1,800 V-Bucks.

In this new season’s Festival Pass, we can get the Lars Ulrich skin automatically upon purchase, and the outfits of the rest of Metallica’s members as we progress through the pass. There are also other items such as

Keep in mind that all of these items are currently exclusive to this season’s Festival Pass, but they may come to the Fortnite Store later. Fortnite Festival Season 4 is available between June 13, 2024, and August 16, 2024, so we have exactly two months and three days to get all of its exclusive rewards.

New Metallica jam tracks in Fortnite Festival: all their songs coming to Fortnite.

Since Fortnite Festival Season 4 is focused on Metallica, new songs from the band will be coming to the item store on 6/13/2024, which we can purchase in the store to own or play when they enter the free daily rotation:

Remember that as part of the Festival Pass, there are exclusive songs as One. In addition to this brief selection, more tracks from this popular group will be added throughout this new Fortnite Festival Season 4.

New Fortnite Festival Battle Royale game mode: Battle Stage

Last but not least, Fortnite Festival Season 4 brings a new game mode where only one player can be left standing. This is Battle Stage, a new mode for Fortnite Festival where up to 16 players can compete to see who is the best musician of all.

Basically, it plays like normal Fortnite Festival, but we have the ability to annoy our opponents by throwing attacks at them to make them score slower and break their streak, similar to the overload we already use in Fortnite Festival to boost our own score.

The game is played in rounds over four randomly selected songs so that no player has an advantage. At the end of each round, the players with the lowest scores are eliminated until only one player remains, who is declared the winner.

This new game mode can be accessed from the Discover tab next to the Festival Main Stage.
