Millie Bobby Brown talks about the action in Season 5 of Stranger Things: “The Duffers have been training me for this moment”
The actress shared how she “channeled her inner Tom Cruise” for Eleven’s final showdown

Season 5 of Stranger Things is about to arrive. There are only a few days left until the premiere of what will be the beginning of the end of one of Netflix’s most iconic series of the last decade. And after so many years of development and growth in its cast, the action has improved, especially with Millie Bobby Brown and her character, Eleven.
During the series premiere in Los Angeles, the actress spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about the demanding physical work she had to do in her last year, which was very different from previous seasons, where she went from highly emotional scenes to “channeled” her inner Tom Cruise.
“I feel like the Duffers have been training me for this moment,” she told the media. “It was really exciting to be more of a resource this season, not just because of her powers but also her physical training and attributes that she’s put herself through. It was really fun, I definitely channeled my inner Tom Cruise. I feel like Volume One only touches on what she’s been training for, and I’m really excited for everyone to see what that leads to.”
What’s Stranger Things Season 5 will be about?
Here’s the official blurb on Stranger Things Season 5:
The fall of 1987. Hawkins is scarred by the opening of the Rifts, and our heroes are united by a single goal: find and kill Vecna. But he has vanished — his whereabouts and plans unknown. Complicating their mission, the government has placed the town under military quarantine and intensified its hunt for Eleven, forcing her back into hiding. As the anniversary of Will’s disappearance approaches, so does a heavy, familiar dread. The final battle is looming — and with it, a darkness more powerful and more deadly than anything they’ve faced before. To end this nightmare, they’ll need everyone — the full party — standing together, one last time.
